There comes a point in every believer’s journey when the old scaffolding of rule‑keeping can’t hold the weight of real life anymore. The law can diagnose our condition, but it can’t heal our hearts. Only grace can do that. Only Jesus can do that. faith over law
And Pastor Bruce, this is where the gospel becomes more than doctrine — it becomes breath.
Faith invites us to trust what we cannot see, to lean into a God who meets us not in our perfection but in our need. Hebrews 11:1 says it plainly: “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Faith is not a performance; it’s a posture. It’s the quiet courage to believe that God is already at work in the places we fear are beyond repair.
Augustine once wrote, “Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.” He understood what we often forget — that grace grows best in the soil of surrender.
As a community shaped by Christ’s love, we walk this road together. We steady one another when the path feels uneven. We remind each other that God’s promises are not fragile. They don’t crack under pressure. They hold.
And when doubt creeps in — because it does — we return to the simple practices that anchor us: prayer, Scripture, quiet moments of honesty before God. Philippians 4:13 whispers to us again, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Not through law. Not through striving. Through Christ.
The more we lean into Him, the more we discover that faith is not a ladder we climb — it’s a gift we receive. Ephesians 2:8–9 brings us home: “God saved you by his grace when you believed… It is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done.”
Grace. Always grace.
May your life today reflect the quiet confidence of someone held by a Savior who never lets go. And may your faith — imperfect, growing, real — become a testimony of His strength in your weakness.

The Path That Led Me Here
My journey began as a young believer full of questions and longing for truth. Over time, God shaped those questions into a calling. My studies at Biola University and Dallas Theological Seminary gave me a strong theological foundation, but the deepest lessons came from walking beside people in their real struggles — where faith is tested, refined, and made authentic.
The birth of Agapao Allelon Ministries was not merely the launch of an organization. It was the fulfillment of a calling God had been cultivating in my heart for years. Agapao Allelon — “to love one another” — captures the very heartbeat of the Christian life. Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35). That wasn’t a suggestion. It was the defining mark of genuine faith.
Discovering the Heart of Scripture
One question has shaped my ministry more than any other: What does it truly mean to know God?
I found the answer in 1 John 4:7–8 — the reminder that love is not merely something God does; it is who He is. The fruit of the Spirit is ultimately the fruit of divine love, expressed through joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self‑control.
Through my writing at Allelon.us, I explore these truths in ways that connect Scripture to the real challenges of modern life. Each article invites readers to go deeper — not just into theology, but into the lived experience of God’s love.
Living Out 1 Peter 4:8
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
This verse has become the guiding mission of my life. I’ve witnessed how unconditional love softens hardened hearts, restores broken relationships, and brings healing where nothing else could.
Why don’t we see this love more often in our churches and communities? Because loving like Jesus requires courage. It asks us to step beyond comfort, extend grace when it’s costly, and forgive when it feels impossible. Yet the power of unconditional love — and the comfort of unconditional forgiveness — can transform not only our relationships but the world around us.
From Personal Pain to Purpose
My journey has not been without wounds. I’ve known seasons of doubt, disappointment, and failure. But those valleys have deepened my empathy and strengthened my conviction that God’s grace is sufficient in every weakness.
Today, Grace through Faith means resting in the truth that we are saved not by performance, but by God’s unearned favor. That freedom fuels my passion for teaching, writing, speaking, and podcasting — not out of obligation, but out of gratitude.
The Ministry of Loving One Another
Loving others isn’t limited to those who are easy to love. Scripture calls us to love even our enemies — a command that is simple in its clarity yet challenging in its practice.
