Love God

Jesus gives the commandment in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 12, when asked, 'which is the greatest commandment?' Jesus responds by saying, 'love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment.

Love Your Neighbor

The Law and the Prophets also tell us to love our neighbor as ourselves. This means we should love and serve others the same way we love and serve ourselves. We should treat others with kindness, respect, and compassion. We should also seek to serve God's people by helping them with their needs.

Love Your Enemies

Jesus teaches us that we must love our enemies and those who have wronged us. He says, 'But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.' This is a difficult commandment, but it is an important one. It reminds us that we must love even those who are our enemies.
