Living By Faith: Hold These Godly Promises Close to Your Heart for Encouragement

It has been a rough day; everywhere you turn, you are feeling discouraged, and one more person just threw you a bible verse, out of context, without knowing your struggle; what do you do?

In times like these, we need to be reminded of the promises God has given us in His Word. Living by faith is a lifestyle choice that requires us to trust God’s promises and live according to His will. When we feel discouraged and overwhelmed, it is essential to go back and read these promises and be reminded of God’s unfailing love, grace, and mercy.

Introduction – What Does it Mean to Live by Faith?

Living by faith means putting our trust in God and His Word. We believe in the promises that He has made and that He will fulfill them. It also means that we are seeking to live a life that is pleasing to Him, trusting that He will lead us in the right way. It is not easy to live by faith, but it is possible, and when we do, it brings us closer to God and gives us peace and assurance.

He is our guide and protector and will never leave or forsake us. When we surrender our lives to Him and trust in His plan, He will give us wisdom, courage, and strength to face any situation.

Galatians 3:13 – I Am Redeemed From the Curse of the Law

Galatians 3:13 reminds us that we are redeemed from the curse of the law. Through Jesus’ death on the cross, we have been free from sin and death’s bondage. This is an incredible promise that God has made to us and is a reminder that we have been given a new life in Christ. No matter what we have done in the past, we can be assured that through Jesus, we are redeemed and forgiven.

2 Corinthians 5:7 – I Am Living by Faith, Not by Sight

2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” This verse reminds us that when we live by faith, we trust God’s promises and do not rely on our own understanding. We are not relying on our strength or wisdom but on the strength and wisdom of God. He knows what is best for us and will lead us in the right direction if we trust Him.

Colossians 1:13 – I Am Rescued From the Dominion of Darkness

We no longer need to fear our past or future because we know God is with us and will provide for us.
